Trekking through this region should pass through covering the mountain terrain of the Nepal-China (Tibet) border, then the trail pass goes between huge mountains along glaciers which is situated in eastern parts.

In between the Everest and Langtang regions lies the Rolwaling valley which is the stunning mid-Eastern range of the Himalayas. It consists of famous peaks such as Mount Ghauri Shankar, Dorje Lakpa, and many others. It is also known as one of the seven hidden valleys in the Himalayas which lies A few miles south of the Tibetan border. This is a wild and barely explored district where ancient tales of “Yeti”, haunt the imagination of climbers.

The journey to Rolwaling begins from Dolakha, near Charikot, which is at an eight-hour drive from Kathmandu. Trek can also be started by crossing Tashi Lapcha. Some technical mountaineering skills and equipment are required for this adventure. During this trek trekkers will also be enjoying beauty of Tsho-Rolpa which is the largest Glacier Lake in Nepal.

Rolwaling trekking leads through the remote and beautiful parts of Nepal’s majestic sherpa, Tamang and Chhetri village with their typical terraced fields, through dense primeval forest with wonderful views.

Day 01: drive from Kathmandu to Dolakha, and Singati

Day 02: trek from Singati to Jagat

Day 03: trek from Jagat – Simigaon

Day 04: trek from Simigaon – Donga

Day 05: trek from Donga – Beding

Day 06:  trek from Beding to Na

Day 07:  trek from Na – Nyiduk Kongma

Day 08: trek from Nyiduk Kongma to Drolumbau Glacier

Day 09: trek from Drolumbau Glacier to Teshi Lapche La

Day 10:  Camp to Thame

Day 11:  trek from Thame to Khumjung

Day 12: trek from Khumjung to Monjo

Day 13:  trek from Monjo to Lukla

Day 14: fly  from Lukla to Kathmandu

Day 01:Drive from Kathmandu to Dolakha, and Singati.

The trek will pass through normal flat land along the side of the river while passing through rice terraces, crossing jungles covered by orchid, few rhododendron trees and wild vegetation.

Day 02:Trek from Singati to Jagat

Trek will move foeard from Singati towards Jagat. You will cross a suspension bridge to reach Jagat, a small town resided by people of mixed culture where you camp for the night.

Day 03:Trek from Jagat – Simigaon

Crossing over the suspension bridges trek will pass via numerous villages where can find small teashops and local shops in some of the locations. Then will steeply climb up to Simigaon, a village inhabited by Buddhist and few Hindus. You camp for the night.

Day 04:Trek from Simigaon – Donga

After seven hours trek, on the route you come across Sherpa villages. The trek covers regions with varieties of plants and Rhododendron trees from here you will come across paths through which you will enjoy the scenic beauty of the place.

Day 05:Trek from Donga – Beding

The trek now ascends uphill through different varieties of plants and Rhododendron trees and will pass over suspension bridges over the deep gorges in a few places making the trek even more enchanting. Finally the trek will reach Beding which is a big Sherpa village.

Day 06: Trek from Beding to Na

This day trek will explore the upper slopes of the valley for Snow Partridge or visit the nearby glacier lake. The trek path slightly ascends along the river bank from where you can have a panoramic view of the mountains as the trek moves forward.

Day 07: Trek from Na – Nyiduk Kongma

Today you will be trekking through the flat and then gradually ascend path. This will make you able to witness the beautiful Natural Lake filled with the chilling water of the glaciers. The views of Menlung and Tibetan Side Mountains add glory to the trek.

Day 08:Trek from Nyiduk Kongma to Drolumbau Glacier

From early morning you will walk through the glaciers and will be able to experience the new enchanting beauties that would add extra dimensions into your trial.

Day 09: Trek from Drolumbau Glacier to Teshi Lapche La

The trail will be ascending through some rock climbing and a gradual walk on the glacier. Today you will be camping in the Tashi Lapcha Pedi camp today.

Day 10: Camp to Thame

Early morning you will trek down to Thame. The trail will gradually descends while trekking an easier trail. You will be able to enjoy the natural beauty of the environment. You camp for the night.

Day 11: Trek from Thame to Khumjung

The trail descends gently for early one hour to Sanasa. From here you can catch a glimpse of the majestic peaks of the Khumbu including Mt Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kusum Kangaru. Passing by several villages and numerous teashops, the trail descends steeply to a bridge over the river Dudh Koshi at Phunki Tenga.

Day 12: Trek from Khumjung to Monjo

The way from Khumjung to Monjo is uneven, with views of forests, scenery and mountains.

Day 13: Trek from Monjo to Lukla

The last day of the trek leads from Namche Bazaar via Monjo to Lukla. The trek is pleasant, except for few short uphill climbs and then down to the Bhote- Koshi River crossing it three times. The last uphill climb of 45 minutes will bring you to Lukla for your overnight stay.

Day 14: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu

We will take morning flight to Kathmandu. On reaching Kathmandu we trek will rest and will go for sightseeing of Kathmandu valley.
